Re: A Broadband Bush Blog

All the ISPs in this country seem to be linked to problems. If you go with the big ones such as Telstra or Optus, they are very expensive and uncompetitive. If you go with the small guys, they will screw up in another way. I am in the process of moving to an apartment where its phone line has been inactive for years, so I thought it would be a good time to check about Naked ADSL. All to learn that Naked ADSL is yet another rip off created by the industry. They try to sell you the illusion that you can get ADSL without an active phone line when in reality it is not like that. All they do is to hide the dial tone, but you still have to pay for the phone line exactly the same as before. There are no advantages or less cost involved, however they have managed to create the opposite, dishonest perception in people. All this is very tiring and frustrating. At the end of the day, this world is made up by us people who are in general mediocre and selfish. That is why everything works so badly and there are no signs of any change.
