Mash that Video
Have you noticed the amount of buzz that is takin place about video?
Of course there is a lot of media attention about whether you can download one or other network program to your iPod. But in the blogosphere the attention is focused on Consumer Created Content. This is where the action is right now and will be more and more over the next two (and more) years. Will it mean the true democratization of the media? I don't think so. Old median like News Corp is sitting in the wings waiting to pick up whatever looks like it will be accretive to shareholder value, and VC's and entrepreneurs alike will be happy to take their cash! Check out some of these offerings: Vidiac claims to be making serious dough just from carrying Google ads. Can't be bad! Cuts is encouraging people to sign up, without you knowing quite what it is that they are offering. Eyespot looks like it is trying for the mash up market Those are just three of the newcomers - and there are lots! Comments

Perceptric Forum
According to Wikipedia a perceptron is a type of artificial neural network. Ergo a “Perceptric” is a person who creates or uses a neural network. The Perceptric Blog is where Chris Gilbey posts thoughts, ideas, and links intended to stimulate thought and accelerate the transfer of ideas. Chris is available for consulting work with the premise that it is not technologies that are disruptive so much as the people that use them. The Perceptric mission is to help companies and people reach their goals and exceed their expectations. This will often mean offering counterintuitive conclusions. Our view? The shortest distance between two points is not necessarily a straight line. It's the number of people needed to be present in a human network to influence and deliver positive decision making. Login
