Zillow is set to wreak havoc with other real estate web sites like Homestore.com. Zillow gives you price comparisons of real estate based on like sales in the neighborhood. Fantastically intriguing, it is a look deep into the heart of wealth in America.

It's erratic at the moment but will get sharply better as the community of home owners tell the site the necessary information to correct deficiencies.

You'll still want a real estate agent to assist buying a house. They're a necessary friction to real estate. This site just allows great gusts of fresh air numbers and fact into the real estate equation. That's a positive. A big step into equalizing the information between buyer, seller and agents. You can bet the real estate agent fraternity think it's devil work.

The more markets where we see this the better. Car's next maybe?

Perceptric Forum

According to Wikipedia a perceptron is a type of artificial neural network.

Ergo a “Perceptric” is a person who creates or uses a neural network.

The Perceptric Blog is where Chris Gilbey posts thoughts, ideas, and links intended to stimulate thought and accelerate the transfer of ideas.

Chris is available for consulting work with the premise that it is not technologies that are disruptive so much as the people that use them.

The Perceptric mission is to help companies and people reach their goals and exceed their expectations. This will often mean offering counterintuitive conclusions.

Our view? The shortest distance between two points is not necessarily a straight line. It's the number of people needed to be present in a human network to influence and deliver positive decision making.
