Apparently 2010 was a year of change… I just got an email from LinkedIn to advise that 96 of my connections changed jobs during the last year.

I just checked to find out how many connections I have in this network – 638. So that means that 15% of my contacts changed jobs, which happens to be the same amount of people as are contacts from the Greater Sydney area, or the amount of contacts that I have in San Francisco and Los Angeles…

I suspect that this year will be a pretty interesting one.

We are sitting on an optimism time bomb fueled by quantitative easing. And we all know what that means… tears before bedtime and another massive crash somewhere along the line… Everyone I know is hoping that they will be able to pick the time to get out of resources and into something more solid…. except cash doesn't seem to be such a good option these days…

Ahh well, let's rock on into 2011 and see what happens!
