Episode 3 of House MD Series 6 is targeting a new audience.
The opening screens (1 minute and 35 seconds) of the episode
are a 3D virtual reality game.

The plot as usual is about House diagnosing an unusual
ailment.
Now far be it for me to spoil the ending for the fans that
haven’t yet had the opportunity to view this episode – so I won’t.
However, the twist involves the internet and the increasing
penchant for persons to attempt to diagnose themselves with online resources.
It would appear that three things are being acknowledged by
the shows producers;
1.
3D gaming is more popular than Television.
2.
Medicos are going head to head with a gradually
growing diagnostic knowledge curve.
3.
House needs to change his attitude if he wants
to keep the audience numbers up.
If we add this current content script writing to other
popular hit shows like the Big Bang Theory, we note a new meme inserting itself
into our entertainment.
The Internet is important.
People that utilize the Internet are important.
Geeks that play games have an important role in society.
Game players are the fastest growing segment of the global entertainment community.
TV shows that recognise this, score better than TV shows that
don’t.
Those that missed it on TV can obtain the time-shifted
version here, of course if it hasn't been shown in your country yet, there is no legal way for you to have this content on your hard-disk.
On that basis alone, I have to advise against downloading it as the files presence may become injurious to your state of freedom.
We live in interesting times, even if we are all turning
into couch potatoes.
