Healthcare – Australia –v- USA –v- Macau.

President Obama may get pushed out of his internet attained office because
of Health care.

On the subject of Health care, I’ll be brief and anecdotal only.
Someone with more available time may like to turn this into an empirical
analysis.

I thought I would do a quick little comparison for Health
care versus Life expectancy.

After all, isn’t that why we have health care? To extend our
lives for as long as possible?

Life Expectancy in years.

So it would seem to me – anecdotally at least, that health
care has a lot to do with the concept that the less that is paid for health insurance,
the longer you live.

Many will argue that the USA
has a high infant death rate and a lower average life expectancy because of the
many who do not bother to cover themselves for the full insurance.

I like to think of it in another way…..

The Death rate is high and the life expectancy is low
because the majority of the population cant afford to cover themselves for
everything and most small business cant afford to give full medical with the
job any longer.

Remove malpractice suites for less than death and remove all
insurance and people will live longer. Quite simple really.

Sorry, what’s that? Big Pharma would close down if we did
that ?

So the F***** what. Big Pharma isn’t worth one single life.
Not one.

We got on well before Big Pharma US style. Hell, my
understanding is that the Chinese have a whole range of medicines – not of
which was invented by big Pharma.

Anecdotally I spent some time in 2004 on the little island
nation of Nauru.
They don’t have a pharmacy (chemist shop). Most of the local populace use
native remedies handed down from mother to daughter and apart from the diabetes
introduced by the western food cycle – the little nation is surprisingly healthy
without BIG PHARMA.
