666 Which Content Company Gets The Number Of The Beast?
I was fascinated to read in British paper, The Independent, about a web site called goldmansachs666.com – and others, who have identified the world's biggest investment bank as being at the heart of American, if not global, oligarchy. (By the way this story is just starting to get going…. just click through for a very interesting view on the way the world is turning…)
What is really amazing, is that there really appears to be a global movement started online that is aiming to take down other organizations who historically have been the ones to “take down” the general public.
Think for a minute about the people who drive the issuing of take down notices – which is all the major studios, movie and music.
As time goes by more people are saying, “I am mad as hell and I am not going to take it anymore”. All power to them too – because it is in our hands.
We need to remember that the laws of the land operate only because we choose to allow them to. We do this because they are of benefit to society. But when an organization becomes harmful to the society in which it operates, it is time that we all take a position and push back.
Over the last few months as the financial crisis has been unfolding we have witnessed poor people in many countries being evicted from their homes, and becoming refugees, just like people in war zones. And there is a war going on, make no mistake. The difference is that in the economic war no one is firing any guns.
While that war is rolling back and forth on another front the content companies are fighting their own battles for control of your ability to watch and listen.
Which company do you think would justify being called the 666 company?
Would it be EMI or Sony or Universal or Warners on the music side? Which of the movie studios is the number of the beast?
