Following on from my blog yesterday, I came across this story in Der Spiegel about the woes that are affecting Iceland.

It is all about the microcosm of Iceland, and how it may be the precursor to what takes place in the Europe generally and then beyond. And ironically it covers some of the same issues that I was alluding to…. the greed of some individuals and the collusion of others that ultimately comes unwound.
