Organic Farming Yields
Apparently researchers have determined that organic farming has better yields than conventional farming – contrary to what we have been told for many years.
It also adds to biodiversity. And it is particularly applicable in developing countries.
As oil keeps climbing toward US$100 per barrel, costs of all the attendant products required for conventional farming are going to increase too.
And of course that means higher prices at the supermarket check out.
With climate change, small organic farms are more likely to be able to change their product output to match the changes to the local environment.
Why are we doing it more?
