Two different concepts are now working to collapse TV as we know it. The Venice Project is where the boys from Skype have gone with their billions. They are building a TV project based on P2P file sharing.

Meanwhile, Tape It Off The Internet is working out of the UK to catalog, identify, tag and then share programs from all over the world, all over the world.

The basic premise is to collapse down the windows of release that TV programmers and stations use to control viewing, and thus allow consumers with fast internet to select from shows anywhere, anytime.

Slingbox is already in this arena sending local TV to where you are sitting.

Network TV will not collapse. But what will is the way they have funded and developed programs traditionally. Music, film, TV. The digital revolution keeps breaking down the barriers at lightening speed.
