The US. The CIA. It's Films. Our reaction.
America is different to any other country. We have the CIA. (And FBI, etc). Then we have rights. Most people take their Rights extremely seriously. That has lead to a Freedom of Information Act. The act allows us to learn about films the CIA has made over the years. Films like “Kidnap, Executive style” or “Investigation of US Bacteriological Warfare”. The films can be requested under the same Freedom of Information act. We learn all about this stuff from the web at places like The Memory Hole.
What we need now is for someone to get a hold of theses films and put them up on the net for us all to see. That's a net win for America allowing all of us to understand how secret organizations like the CIA think and operate. What they get right. Or wrong.
And immediately poses a question. Can you imagine the KGB or its Russian masters rushing to release its footage any time soon?
