Interesting story in the Wall Street Journal yesterday – rumours that Amazon is going to start offering downloadable movies soon…. Will they have a synchronous end to end system with both movies and branded player? There have been lots of stories recently that the music industry has become worried about the increasing power and influence of Steve Jobs (who is the one individual who really does have a foot on both technology with Apple and content with Disney).

Could be that the movie industy is equally concerned…..
