No WiFi. No deal.

Paid Content sent their man to a Digital Magazine Conference. He gets there and finds no Wi Fi. He rips the organizers. Why not? He uses the WiFi link to communicate vertically to an outside world via email, instant message, skype, blogs and who knows, in the future, vlogs. Predictions are flowing about the wifi future. Generally, along the lines of how corporations will monetize or shape future versions or developments of wifi.

Our prediction is that increasing low to high level irritation at no WiFi will pressure its adoption quickly. It'll be in a  host of different new places and setting. Stick an aerial on a DSL cable and you have a network? That easy? Why wouldn't everyone just do that? Exactly. They will.

Bet on the easy solution rollout over the next year as the Paid Content comment becomes prevalent. As businesses realize get with the times or get left behind. I mean, do you think the Digital Magazine Conference will dare go without WiFi next year?
