Drucker

Peter Drucker died a week ago.He was 95.

He was famous for his management insights and success came through a phenomenal output of books.

Here is something he said that seems to be very relevant now….”Innovating organizations spend neither time nor resources on defending yesterday….Systematic abandonment of yesterday alone can free the resources, and especially the scarcest resource of athem all, capable people…”

As companies struggle with competition from more directions, and needing to move at Internet speed, innovation at the speed of thought, I am struck by how those words ring true.
