A good customer business.

Polka Dots and Moonbeams is a cool LA boutique. Walk in and you get greeted warmly, taken to where you need to go and looked after. It's been growing and getting noticed. That's because they give excellent service to everyone, all the time, no matter who you are (and yeah, they have the hippest LA clothes too)

Down the street is The Cook's Library which first, incredibly, is not open on Sunday.(when cooks have time to cook and read and stuff like that)  Second, walk in, and three people who work there can and will ignore you for the twenty minutes you're in the shop. Not even a “can I help you” (they're were reading and talking, though, I get that) So they got no purchase, despite a need and desire. Amazon. Here I come.

It's a tough world now. You really just can't cold shoulder or ignore anyone, yet businesses still do. Why?
