Ending 2005, China will have 400 million cellphone users, twice the US consumer figure with Russia in third place for user numbers. Worldwide, 2005, there are 5 billion cell users. Chinese consumers bought 68 million cellphones in 2004 amidst tough competition. China's economy is clearly exploding.
