The Guardian is a grand old liberal UK broadsheet. Broadsheets are dying faster than their readers. So The Guardians' changed shape and direction. Now there's an editors blog to present the reasons behind what appeared in the newspaper on a daily basis.

Mainstream old line media starts to feel a chill wind and suddenly decides “can't beat'em, join'em?” Talk about putting yourself out there publicly. Every editorial decision can now be argued and discussed. That's a revolution arriving.
